  I would not recommend this real estate agency to anyone. I've recently dealt with this agency and haven't received any sort of support. I was told lies. As soon as I put a deposit on the house I found out that the couple im buying from are getting divorced and they've delayed settlement by 4 weeks because of their personal issues. After the first delay, it was delayed once again by another week. If I knew any of the issues they're going through, I would've never even considered buying this property. The agent I dealt with was Danielle. She disclosed to me only after I put deposits on the house that the vendors are divorcing and this is what's causing all this headache. In the middle of the matter Danielle the acting agent disappears, and now I'm dealing with a new agent Craig who said that he doesn't know anything about the mater and he's not aware about anything. I've had a final inspection recently of the house I'm buying, prior to the inspection Craig tells me that the vendor hired a professional cleaning company to clean the house before settlement. I go in to complete the final inspection, the house is filthy, starting from dirty toilets and sinks ending with holes in the walls and broken kitchen doors. I'm not sure what it is, but seems that McGrath real estate hires agents that always lie. When I approached the vendor about the state of the house, she tells me that she didn't hire anyone to clean it, which means that the agent just lied for no reason. The agent didn't even tell the vendor that the house must be cleaned. In my previous experiences, the agent must tell vendors that the house must be in a reasonable state of cleanliness. But Craig didn't even try to talk to the vendor. It seems that all they care about is their commission. When I tried talking to Craig, he doesn't even want to discuss anything and tells me to speak to my solicitor. However, it's his job to tell the vendor that the house must be cleaned. I hope those who will consider having McGrath agents as their real estate agency will see my post and not fall into the same trap as I did. They don't care about your needs, wishes. They ignore your requests and they lie to you just to shut you up. I'm very dissatisfied with this company, I've read many reviews that were positive, which now makes me think that the agents are writing those reviews themselves. Because I'll never believe that they actually care about their clients.

  Craig is not a better agent too, because he either doesn't want to discuss anything or tells me lies. You guys are disgusting liars. I hope people will see my post and consider 100 times before they sign their house with you.

  I was told lies throughout my dealings with them. First, it was that one of the vendors is overseas and he doesn't have internet there so he can't sign the contract. I wasted 2 weeks waiting for him, I genuinely believed that he is overseas, but it's 21st century, there's internet everywhere. Secondly, the vendor came from overseas but they can't reach his phone, I waited again because Danielle the agent was feeding me lies. Then she disclosed that they're actually divorcing. I've wasted so much time believing this agency. It's disgusting how they play with people.
